A New Beginning

What we call the beginning is often the end.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.
The end is where we start from.
~T.S. Eliot

Here we are at the GR Civic Theatre to remove our angels. My son, Jack is here to help.

She looks different without the incredible stage lighting; a busy stage with other artists removing their Artprize entries and stage techs getting ready for their next show 'Our Town', which opens next Sunday.

Here the boys have removed the wings to start; they are a blur of activity!

Dominic steadies her while Eddie loads her on the hand truck.

Eddie loading her into the U Haul we rented for the occasion.

Here are the wings ready to go into the truck.

Jack took a picture of me directing the men with their load
(Ha. Eddie has the whole thing under control!)

Driving by last year's second place Artprize winner mosaic at the Children's Museum.

Here is Luminary in the front of my shop in Lakeview, MI where she will stay until her 'rightful owner' comes to claim her! (I do believe in positive wishful thinking.)

I had so many wonderful supportive Lakeview friends and family supporting me through this whole fun event, and now they will be able to visit her anytime at the shop.

She will be the first thing you see as you walk through my front doors; a large welcoming presence.

We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers
connect us with our fellow men.
~Herman Melville

Many great things came from this event; here I am mentioned in one of my favorite blogs:

Now back to a "regular" schedule for a while. Peace.
